The Sales Development organization is expanding, and this opening is for a customer-oriented Business Development Representative who will own the inbound sales motion, help create pipeline as the company moves upmarket, and support Vanta’s position in a competitive market.
This position follows a hybrid working model with required in-office attendance in Dublin on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a solid command of Vanta’s product capabilities and value proposition.
- Identify strategic target accounts using tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6Sense to support upmarket growth.
- Build and manage multichannel prospecting sequences in Outreach to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Arrange meetings on account executives’ calendars and keep activity records up to date.
- Handle objections professionally while bringing strong interpersonal and technical communication skills to every interaction.
What success in this role looks like
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a sales role focused on generating pipeline.
- Ability to manage and support the existing inbound lead engine.
- Comfort working independently and creating repeatable processes in a scaling environment.
- Strong empathy for prospects and the ability to represent the brand well.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for contributing meaningfully in an early-stage start-up environment.
- Willingness and ability to commute to the office three days each week.
- Curiosity about AI, openness to using it to improve work, and good judgment in applying it responsibly to increase efficiency and impact.
