Role Overview
This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles, California, with a hybrid schedule that requires working in-office and on-location three days per week.
The role suits a creative producer who enjoys hands-on execution across agency production, line production, post-production, and event-driven activations. The ideal candidate balances creativity with strong organization, stays deeply involved in the work, and supports campaigns across multiple channels with an eye for culture, timeliness, and relevance. You should be collaborative, open to feedback, and able to grow ideas while adapting to new directions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with agency collaborators and internal production teams to contribute a production perspective during early-stage brainstorming, offering practical ideas, spotting risks, improving efficiency, and identifying execution opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal agency stakeholders across disciplines to judge project viability and assemble the right mix of internal and external resources.
- Deliver socially driven campaigns with budgets of up to $250,000 by sourcing production partners, creating schedules, building budgets, and shaping production plans under the direction of production leadership.
- Anticipate obstacles early, propose workable solutions, and keep projects moving while escalating concerns to leadership when required.
- Serve as a production point of contact for clients while working closely with the agency team and understanding what each function needs to succeed.
- Verify trafficking, version control, and metadata across internal systems and agency deliverables.
- Work with Business Affairs to review concepts, talent agreements, usage terms, and other vendor or legal contracts.
- Manage vendor documentation and invoice processing.
- Build knowledge across the full production process, from development through delivery, while supporting creative excellence.
- Assist senior producers on larger and more complex campaigns.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a production-focused role within an agency, production company, or a similar environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for productions, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong production finance capability, including budget tracking, wrap processes, vendor payments, and crew timecard management.
- Experience in one or more production areas such as social, digital, print, experiential/events, post-production, podcasts, DOOH/OOH, PR, or custom fabrication of influencer kits, with solid production instincts.
- Working knowledge of union and non-union considerations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle pressure and very tight deadlines.
- Highly proactive, exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused in a fast-changing production environment.
- Interest in, and experience with, AI integrations in production is an added advantage.
