Role Overview

As Area Manager for Germany, you will report to the North of Europe Zone Director and work closely with the commercial, accounting, administrative, and HR teams. Your mission will be to shape and execute the company’s commercial strategy across Germany while ensuring that legal and mandatory requirements are met in every point of sale.

You will maintain close contact with Store Managers, supporting them in team organization, store performance, day-to-day operations, and commercial execution.

Sales and Business Performance

You will lead the commercial approach for your area with a strong focus on store profitability. This includes setting sales priorities, building action plans, tracking key performance indicators, and spotting opportunities to improve results and grow the business.

Customer Experience

Working with Store Managers and store teams, you will help ensure a high-quality client experience that reflects group standards while also fitting the local market. You will coach teams so they better understand customer needs and can deliver service aligned with the company’s expectations.

People Management

You will recruit, onboard, develop, and support Store Managers within your area. Your role will also include team motivation, commercial animation, training, coaching, action planning, and providing HR support when needed.

Operations and Compliance

You will act as the connection between stores and headquarters to make sure operational processes are properly followed. This includes stock management, transfers, implementation of commercial initiatives, visual merchandising, and other store procedures.

You will also oversee store opening and closing activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently and without disruption.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys encouraging, guiding, and training teams. A strong interest in fashion is essential, along with solid retail experience in the fashion industry.

You should be comfortable keeping daily operations running smoothly in support of commercial targets. The role also calls for independent decision-making, sound judgment, and respect for company guidelines and customer needs.

Strong organization and time management skills are important. Fluency in German and English is required, and French would be an advantage because the wider group is based in Paris.
