Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Aesthetic General Practitioner position is based in Sharjah. The doctor will conduct consultations, perform clinical evaluations, and design personalized treatment plans for patients seeking aesthetic and dermatological solutions. The role includes skin examinations, recommending suitable treatments, and carrying out non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as injectables, laser-based treatments, and anti-aging interventions within the practitioner’s permitted scope. The position also involves patient education, informed consent, strong hygiene and safety practices, collaboration with dermatologists and other clinicians, accurate documentation, and contribution to ongoing improvements in clinical standards and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet patients for consultations and assess their aesthetic or dermatological concerns.
• Perform detailed skin examinations and clinical assessments.
• Create customized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Prescribe suitable treatments and carry out non-surgical aesthetic procedures within scope.
• Provide injectables, laser treatments, and anti-aging procedures as appropriate.
• Explain treatment choices, possible risks, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions clearly to patients.
• Obtain and document informed consent before treatment.
• Maintain strict standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
• Work closely with dermatologists and other medical team members.
• Keep accurate patient records and support high-quality clinical documentation.
• Help improve clinic protocols and enhance overall patient experience.

Requirements

• MBBS or an equivalent medical degree, along with a valid UAE General Practitioner license, or eligibility for licensure in Sharjah.
• Practical background in aesthetic medicine and/or dermatology, with hands-on exposure to common aesthetic procedures and skin treatments.
• Strong ability to assess and diagnose a wide variety of skin conditions and skin types.
• Solid understanding of evidence-based medical practice, infection prevention, and patient safety procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to explain procedures and outcomes in a clear, empathetic way.
• Capability to develop lasting patient relationships while delivering patient-centered care in a multicultural setting.
• Comfort using electronic medical records and digital tools for documentation, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Willingness to keep learning and stay updated on emerging aesthetic technologies, products, and protocols.
• English fluency is required.
• Training or certifications in aesthetic procedures such as injectables, laser therapy, or skin rejuvenation are strongly preferred.
