Role overview

Amazon is looking for an experienced Program Manager to support the rapid growth of its ultra-fast grocery operations in Saudi Arabia. This role sits within Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment operations and contributes to building and scaling a new service across MENA. The position focuses on improving last-mile grocery operations, standardizing processes, supporting cross-functional execution, and helping shape a newly formed business model.

The mission behind the team is to keep Amazon the destination where customers can discover and purchase anything they need online. In this role, you will help advance that mission by enabling innovation, solving complex operational problems, and supporting the launch and expansion of Amazon Now stores.

What you will do

As a bridge between local operations and country-level business teams, you will help introduce new ideas, test better ways of working, and ensure strong safety practices are consistently followed.

• Coordinate project delivery across multiple functions within the organization.
• Navigate and help resolve disagreements between teams in a constructive, professional way.
• Ensure the relevant teams are accountable for meeting their commitments and deliverables.
• Work closely with RoW countries to share and implement best practices.
• Maintain health and safety standards in your area while helping build a strong on-site safety culture.
• Track performance, provide feedback, and support team development as part of operational leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that raise productivity and support business goals, including strategic work with building-level and network-wide impact.
• Plan ahead for the next three, six, and twelve months, with special attention to peak-season readiness.
• Prepare and present leadership updates, MBRs, and QBRs.
• Set clear targets and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Equip the team with the tools needed to succeed and drive better efficiency through data-based decisions and analytical problem-solving.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• At least 3 years of experience with computerized maintenance management system programs.
• At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance planner or scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• At least 3 years of advanced experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon RME (BB/3P) experience.
• Availability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred background

• Exposure to Lean principles and DMAIC methods.
• Experience with MS Access and SQL.
• Ability to gather requirements and prepare clear, detailed requirement documents.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience with installation, operation, and maintenance of material handling systems.
• Experience working analytically with cross-functional teams.
