Role Overview
This position is responsible for driving both sales and service outcomes across the assigned territory, covering data services such as internet bandwidth, MPLS and cloud, along with voice (postpaid), broadband and fixed line solutions. The role acts as the main customer contact from Airtel’s side and serves as the single point of coordination for all three business lines.
The objective is to grow Customer Market Share (CMS) and Revenue Market Share (RMS) within existing accounts as well as new business opportunities.
Key Deliverables
- Meet assigned targets for installation and delivery across data, voice and fixed line services.
- Identify and win new accounts for data, voice and fixed line offerings.
- Expand revenue by promoting multiple products to both current and prospective customers.
- Maintain a strong sales funnel for all three lines of business, with clear progression at each stage.
- Track competitor activity and gather market intelligence to support sales planning.
- Observe competitor offerings and shape sales actions for different customer segments.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Lead negotiations and close contracts or orders to help improve revenue.
- Grow business by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities in existing accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned with customer requirements.
Profile
The ideal candidate should be a graduate with 1 to 5 years of experience. The preferred age is up to 30 years. Relevant background includes ISP, SI (HP/Dell), field sales engineers from telecom companies, wireline, IT/ITeS, BFSI, or other relationship-driven selling roles.
