Role overview
The Technical Integrity Manager is responsible for safeguarding the technical soundness, safety, and regulatory compliance of real estate and infrastructure work across the Dubai Developments portfolio. This is a part-time position based in Abu Dhabi, with a hybrid setup that allows some work to be done from home.
What you will do
In this role, you will examine engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction methods to confirm they meet applicable codes, standards, and internal governance requirements. You will also organize and participate in technical audits, risk reviews, and integrity assessments, then document outcomes and help implement corrective and preventive measures with project teams and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with project management, research and development, and technical support teams to resolve complex issues, improve asset performance, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts. In addition, you will prepare concise technical documentation, help shape technical integrity and governance frameworks, and support internal training or advisory sessions on best practices.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring strong analytical capability, including the ability to interpret technical information, evaluate risks, and reach evidence-based conclusions. The role also requires solid project management skills to organize, prioritize, and track multiple technical integrity tasks and deadlines.
Experience in managing teams and working across functions is important, as the position involves guiding project teams, influencing stakeholders, and promoting a culture of technical quality. A background in technical support and research and development is also valuable, especially where troubleshooting and practical problem-solving are needed.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or a closely related technical discipline is required, although equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered. Candidates should have experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors, preferably on large or complex projects.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety requirements, and quality management systems is expected. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for preparing reports and presentations. The position also calls for someone who can work independently in a hybrid arrangement and manage time effectively.
