About the Organisation

The Opportunity
As an Enliven Support Worker, you will provide in-home support to clients such as older adults, people with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or other challenges. Support may include personal care tasks like showering and dressing, medication support, meal preparation, household assistance, and help with community activities. The exact mix of duties will vary according to each client’s care plan.
The role is based in central Auckland and surrounding areas, with the need to travel between client homes and work rostered weekends.
About You
This role suits someone who is caring, empathetic, and comfortable working with people from different backgrounds. You should be able to communicate clearly, follow care instructions, and provide a high standard of support while working independently in clients’ homes.
Requirements
- You must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand resident, or hold an eligible work visa.
- A full New Zealand driver licence is required, along with a dependable vehicle for travel between clients. Overseas driver licences cannot be accepted.
- You need to be available for flexible hours, including weekend work.
- Clear English communication skills are essential for reading care instructions and speaking with clients and colleagues.
- You should have strong customer service ability and enjoy helping and engaging with people.
- You must be able to work to professional standards, policies, and procedures.
- A genuine compassion for older people, disabled clients, and people in recovery is important.
- You should feel confident visiting clients in their homes and delivering a range of care and support services.
