The position also plays an important part in connecting leadership, finance, product marketing, sales, and regional teams so that planning decisions are disciplined, aligned, and measurable.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will help run the operational engine behind annual and quarterly planning efforts, keep cross-functional workstreams moving, and ensure that outputs are clear, consistent, and ready for leadership review. You will also support goal-setting frameworks, track progress against objectives and key results, and help turn strategic priorities into practical execution plans.

  • Manage the full business operations process for annual planning across go-to-market functions.
  • Set up planning rhythms, important milestones, and required deliverables.
  • Maintain consistency and quality across planning materials such as narratives, investment proposals, and strategic priority documents.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and other partners to connect related planning streams.
  • Convert annual planning outcomes into specific, measurable OKRs across planning pillars.
  • Align company-wide priorities with team and function-level goals.
  • Apply structure and rigor to goal setting and success measurement.
  • Monitor OKR progress and surface both risks and opportunities.
  • Lead quarterly business planning across GTM and regional sales groups.
  • Run operating cadences that support marketing investment decisions.
  • Assess trade-offs and help optimize how resources are allocated across regions and programs.
  • Partner with finance, GTM, and sales leadership to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Serve as a hub connecting GTM, PMM, Sales, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Build alignment, accountability, and clear communication among all participants.
  • Spot process gaps and introduce scalable improvements to planning workflows.
  • Prepare executive-ready updates, reports, and insights.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, consulting, or a similar field. Strong program management capability is important, especially for complex, cross-functional initiatives. You should be comfortable translating strategic direction into concrete execution and measurable results, and have hands-on experience with annual planning, OKRs, and quarterly business reviews. The role also calls for solid analytical thinking, strong problem-solving ability, and effective communication and partner management skills.
