Overview
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is hiring a Stores Attendant for the Dietetics team at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role supports Food Services 5 - SBH and falls under the Clinical Support job stream and CUPE union.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Area Dietitian or another designated leader, this position helps keep dietary stores running smoothly in line with the mission, values, and management philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital. The work focuses on maintaining orderly stock movement, supplying designated areas, and keeping storage spaces clean and organized.
Core Duties
- Keep inventory rotated properly so stock is used in the right order.
- Move or carry supplies to the required locations.
- Prepare supply requests and deliver items to the intended departments or areas.
- Maintain storage rooms so they stay tidy and sanitary.
- Handle other duties connected to the role as needed.
Experience and Education
- At least six months of experience in a food services environment is required.
- Grade 10 completion is required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Comfortable reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work on your own with limited oversight.
- Maintains good personal hygiene.
- Works carefully and accurately.
- Can handle information that must remain confidential.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Willingness to work in very cold conditions and in crowded areas for extended periods.
- Ability to adjust to sharp temperature changes for short stretches during the workday.
Hiring Conditions
