Role Overview
Adani Power is hiring a Shift Engineer in the Electrical function for its Maharashtra operations. The role focuses on keeping plant electrical systems reliable, safe, and compliant through both preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance work while strictly following safety rules and statutory requirements.
- Inspect electrical equipment and systems on a regular basis to detect and resolve issues before they lead to failures.
- Work with the maintenance team to plan and execute maintenance calendars and improvement strategies.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and apply practical fixes to reduce equipment downtime.
- Perform routine technical tasks such as wiring work, testing, and replacement of faulty components.
- Maintain adherence to electrical standards, codes, procedures, and site-specific compliance practices.
- Support and guide junior team members with hands-on technical assistance when needed.
- Record repair work, maintenance actions, and equipment condition details accurately.
- Take part in learning sessions and training initiatives to stay current on industry methods and best practices.
Required Background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Thermal and Power Plant sector.
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Additional certifications related to electrical maintenance and safety are preferred.
