Role Overview

Insightsoftware is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer with strong Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) knowledge to join the APAC team in Singapore. This is a strategic pre-sales role that works closely with Sales to influence opportunities, guide buying decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to finance and FP&A leaders across the region. The ideal candidate combines deep planning and consolidation expertise with a commercial mindset that helps move deals forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to expert for EPM topics such as budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Advise CFOs, controllers, and FP&A leaders on modernizing planning and performance management processes.
• Position the company’s offerings against both traditional and cloud-based alternatives.
• Work with Sales to assess opportunities and help define the best deal approach.
• Deliver persuasive product demonstrations focused on business outcomes.
• Convert customer pain points into clear solution stories that differentiate the offering.
• Influence both technical and executive stakeholders during the sales journey.
• Design scalable EPM solution architectures that align with client goals.
• Translate business requirements into product-fit recommendations with commercial awareness.
• Support RFP responses and proposal creation with accurate technical input.
• Share market and prospect feedback to shape product positioning and roadmap thinking.
• Stay informed on trends in xP&A, consolidation, cloud finance transformation, and CFO technology ecosystems.

What the Company Is Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in EPM, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and performance management.
• Background in a Solutions Engineer, Presales Consultant, or similar customer-facing advisory position.
• Comfort engaging senior finance leaders such as CFOs, group controllers, and heads of FP&A.
• Ability to explain complex finance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercially minded approach with the ability to influence revenue outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong English communication skills are required; Mandarin is a plus.
• The company is open to both experienced senior professionals and high-potential candidates with about 2–5+ years of relevant experience and a strong growth trajectory.
