Role overview

Primer is looking for an ambitious, high-performing Business Development Manager with enterprise sales experience to help accelerate revenue growth. In this enterprise-facing role, you will manage the full selling process for the Primer product suite, from first outreach through to closing deals.

Using a consultative style, you will work with founders, CEOs, CTOs, CFOs, and senior functional leaders to lead sales conversations and shape customer strategy. The role also involves partnering across teams to support revenue initiatives and improve how Primer sells and serves its customers.

This position requires professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of the complete enterprise sales journey, including prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Create and expand a strong sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Design tailored sales approaches for key stakeholders and clearly communicate the value of Primer’s platform.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to deliver a strong customer experience, share market feedback, refine the ideal customer profile, and act on insights from customer conversations.

  • Use a consultative approach to understand customer pain points and recommend suitable solutions.
