About the Role
This position is with a large bakery company known for producing a range of popular breads, muffins, bagels, cakes, and donuts. The organization employs more than 20,000 people across bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes, and emphasizes fresh products, competitive compensation, benefits, safety, inclusion, and a workplace where people can be themselves.
Compensation and Schedule
- Starting pay is $23.85 per hour.
- Work hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.
What You’ll Do
- Support sanitation operations by completing a variety of tasks that maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Take equipment apart and put it back together for effective cleaning and for preparing production lines before runs begin.
- Use cleaning machinery safely, such as rack washers, power washers, steamers, washer extractors, and dryers.
- Work in accordance with food safety rules, sanitation standard operating procedures, and food quality requirements.
Who Should Apply
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to communicate clearly in English, and comfortable working in a warm environment. The role also requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
This job involves regular physical effort, including lifting, pushing, pulling, stacking, unstacking, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. Candidates should also be able to stand or bend for extended periods.
