Role overview
KAFAAT Recruitment is hiring a Sales Manager for an FMCG business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is centered on accelerating sales growth, leading a sales team, and shaping practical market strategies that expand share across assigned territories. The successful candidate will focus on revenue delivery, distributor and customer partnerships, and disciplined execution in a dynamic consumer goods setting.
What you will do
- Design and roll out sales plans that support volume, value, and distribution objectives.
- Guide, develop, and encourage the sales team so they perform at a high level.
- Strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and important retail customers.
- Track market movements, competitor actions, and customer expectations to uncover new growth areas.
- Make sure products are well stocked, visible, and properly merchandised in the market.
- Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for leadership review.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to keep operations aligned.
- Follow company policies, pricing rules, and trade agreements without exception.
- Lead commercial negotiations and quickly close out issues raised by customers or distributors.
Profile and experience
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar discipline. A background of more than 5 years in FMCG sales is preferred, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. The role calls for strong leadership, clear communication, and confident negotiation skills, along with a sound grasp of FMCG distribution structures and retail channels. Applicants should also be comfortable analyzing sales data, turning insights into action, and working in a results-focused environment. Proficiency with MS Office and sales reporting tools is expected.
