AAAGlobal is a specialist recruitment and headhunting firm focused on placing quantitative professionals worldwide, including researchers, traders, developers, and portfolio managers, with top hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and quantitative asset managers. The London team is looking for a Research Analyst for a research-heavy position suited to someone intelligent, inquisitive, and driven, with the ambition to develop into a consultant managing their own mandates.
Key responsibilities
- Study talent markets by identifying, researching, and profiling candidates across quantitative strategies, firms, and regions.
- Maintain up-to-date intelligence on firms, teams, and recruitment patterns in the market.
- Assist senior consultants on active mandates through sourcing, screening, and candidate outreach.
- Conduct structured conversations with candidates and produce clear, accurate profile write-ups.
- Build the experience needed to take ownership of mandates and later develop direct client relationships.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from a top-tier university.
- Strong interest in financial markets and a solid foundation in quantitative finance.
- Excellent research ability, including the habit of verifying information through multiple sources.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of a second European language such as French, German, or Italian is a strong advantage.
- High resilience, ambition, and careful attention to detail.
