Role Overview

The organisation is seeking a highly organised and self-starting Recruitment Coordinator to join the Support Recruitment team in South Brisbane. Reporting to the Head of Support Recruitment, this role supports the end-to-end hiring process by arranging interviews, handling candidate communication, keeping recruitment systems up to date, and helping ensure a positive experience for both applicants and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise interview schedules and coordinate candidate bookings across multiple open roles.
  • Review applications and assist recruiters with creating shortlists.
  • Prepare and publish job ads on different recruitment channels.
  • Update candidate information and recruitment activity in the applicant tracking system.
  • Handle recruitment administration tasks such as offers, employment contracts, reference verification, and compliance-related checks.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates and maintaining talent pools.
  • Keep candidates informed with timely updates throughout the hiring journey.
  • Support reporting, recruitment projects, and process improvement work.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and the Support Recruitment team to keep recruitment running efficiently.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in recruitment coordination, recruitment administration, HR support, or a similar role.
  • Strong planning and multitasking ability.
  • High level of accuracy and solid administrative skills.
  • Well-developed written and spoken communication skills.
  • Experience with recruitment or applicant tracking systems; SmartRecruiters experience is an advantage.
  • Positive, proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with candidates and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
