Role overview

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for carrying out daily on-site quality audits, documenting findings, and ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are completed in a timely manner. The role also involves acting as the cluster’s representative during authority-led or external audits, and keeping the QA/QC team informed with regular progress updates. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills are key to maintaining service quality and supporting continuous improvement.

Key duties

  • Be present at the site and conduct independent quality control checks every day across at least half of the cluster’s operational work.
  • Carry out random audit sampling through ITeFM, covering both document reviews and on-site inspections.
  • Inspect cleaning and horticulture services for the assigned clusters/camps, and escalate defects to the SP supervisor and TOs for follow-up.
  • Compile audit findings and submit reports to the QA auditors.
  • Monitor and chase the completion of corrective actions and preventive actions recommended in audit reports.
  • Act as the representative for the cluster during authority audits and other external review exercises.
  • Provide direct updates to the QA auditor on QC reports and audit-related matters.
  • Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Candidate profile

The preferred candidate should hold a diploma in Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a similar discipline. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Facilities Management or Quality Management is required. Preference will be given to applicants with ISO Internal Auditor certification. A Class 3 driving licence will be considered an advantage.

Why this role

  • Join a growing global organisation with an international footprint.
  • Benefit from a workplace that supports internal career growth and promotion.
  • Be part of an employer that actively values diversity and inclusion.
