Overview
This role sits within a national programme designed to improve sexual health and wellbeing outcomes for people affected by prostate cancer across Ireland. The position is part-time and offers a hybrid/remote working setup.
Role Summary
You will work as an organised, proactive administrative coordinator, helping to deliver programme activities, engage stakeholders, and keep initiatives moving forward. The role involves close collaboration with clinical teams, healthcare organisations, and an Irish Advisory Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project activity and administrative workflows across several workstreams.
- Set up and coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Assist with the administration of community, research, and clinical funding programmes.
- Plan and support a national stakeholder event, including related communications.
- Keep project plans, action trackers, milestone logs, and progress reports up to date.
- Serve as a main contact for stakeholders throughout Ireland, including clinical and healthcare partners.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting tasks.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person will have experience in administration, project coordination, programme support, or a comparable role. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication are essential. You should be comfortable handling several priorities at once, working with a range of stakeholders, and taking ownership of your work independently.
Additional Experience That Would Help
Background in healthcare, hospital administration, not-for-profit organisations, or public sector settings would be beneficial. Familiarity with the Irish healthcare environment is also desirable.
Working Arrangement
This is a part-time contract role, typically 2 to 2.5 days per week, running until May 2028. The position is based in Ireland with a hybrid/remote arrangement.
