About the Company
The employer has deep experience in commercial construction, with a track record across hotels and casinos, restaurants, retail spaces, healthcare environments, and a variety of other commercial and themed projects. The team also offers design-assist support from the early concept stage through construction documents, backed by in-house AUTOCAD staff.
Role Overview
The organization is hiring a Project Manager to lead projects involving commercial drywall, metal stud framing, and other Division 9 work. The role focuses on keeping crews aligned so work is completed on schedule and within budget. The position is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Key Duties
- Manage project records and paperwork, including logs, drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and related documentation.
- Carry out field inspections, document findings, and notify the Project Superintendent about any concerns.
- Track change activity, maintain change-order logs, coordinate with impacted trades, and prepare and issue change orders.
- Review internal invoices with the project team, follow up on schedules, and help ensure payments are collected.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in framing and drywall work is required, specifically in new construction, renovations, and interior buildouts. A Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline is strongly preferred. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, experience using Procore and project scheduling software, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Experience in luxury construction is preferred.
