Private Equity Associate (Remote)

Role Summary

This contract role is for a Private Equity Associate working remotely from anywhere. The position supports a global investment team focused on high-growth technology and software businesses, with responsibilities spanning sourcing, analysis, transaction support, and portfolio monitoring.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate potential investments.
• Carry out in-depth due diligence on target businesses, covering financial, operational, and market-related risks.
• Draft investment memorandums and presentation materials for investment committees and limited partners.
• Assist portfolio companies with strategic projects and operational enhancements.
• Track current investments, monitor KPIs, and share performance updates with relevant stakeholders.

Required Background

• Solid hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation within private equity or venture capital environments.
• Practical exposure to due diligence for technology and software-focused investments.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and finance analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret complex financial statements and broader market movements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and updates.
