Role Overview

The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for tracking pricing performance, carrying out market and profitability analysis, maintaining pricing structures, and supporting commercial decisions in line with company policies and pricing governance standards.

This position partners with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver pricing recommendations, profitability insights, market intelligence, and commercial support for quotations, contracts, and tenders. It also involves managing pricing data, updating price lists in ERP systems, and creating reports that enable better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation and rollout of pricing strategies that support business goals.
  • Keep pricing frameworks, discount structures, and pricing rules up to date.
  • Make sure pricing activities follow company policies and approval limits.
  • Take part in pricing reviews and initiatives aimed at improving margins.
  • Study market movements, competitor prices, and customer purchasing behaviour.
  • Perform profitability reviews across customers, products, segments, and contracts.

  • Assess how proposed pricing changes may affect revenue and profitability.
  • Support Sales and Aftermarket teams with pricing input for tenders and quotations.

  • Help prepare commercial cases for business decisions.
  • Maintain customer pricing records and price lists.
  • Ensure pricing information is accurate in ERP and other business systems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, finance, procurement, or sales operations.
  • Strong capability in analysis, reporting, and business systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP platforms, with SAP preferred.
  • Ability to analyse data and prepare meaningful reports.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial understanding and problem-solving ability.
