Role Overview

Following a recent merger with Activ8 Solar Energies and SSE Airtricity, Allbrite Heatpump Specialists Ltd is in a strong growth phase and has won work with local councils, energy providers, and the SEAI. The business is hiring a qualified Plumber to handle the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems from its Carrickmacross, County Monaghan base.

What You Will Do

• Install and commission heat pump systems carefully and accurately.
• Prepare pipework and plumbing infrastructure for heat pump projects.
• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance in line with manufacturer instructions to keep systems performing well.
• Identify faults and apply practical fixes to restore reliable operation.
• Offer technical support and guidance to customers about their heat pump systems.
• Coordinate with colleagues to keep projects moving and finish work within deadlines.
• Maintain clear records of completed tasks and materials used.
• Follow all relevant health, safety, and compliance standards at all times.

Requirements

• Fully qualified plumber, preferably with at least 3 years of residential experience in the Irish market.
• Must be able to commute to Carrickmacross.
• Working knowledge of plumbing regulations and industry standards.
• Solid understanding of heating system layouts, controls, and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working on your own and as part of a wider team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to undertake occasional travel within Ireland.
