Placement Officer

Role Overview

EME is looking for a Placement Officer to lead campus placement efforts in Kochi, Kerala. The position focuses on strengthening employer partnerships, improving student employability, and supporting successful internship and job outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement placement plans that support institutional objectives and reflect current industry demand.
• Develop and nurture relationships with corporate organizations, including companies in the SAP ecosystem, to secure internship and employment opportunities.
• Track placement results and performance data, then refine strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Represent the institution at industry gatherings such as conferences, seminars, and networking events to identify new opportunities.
• Offer career guidance, including one-on-one coaching, resume feedback, interview preparation, and job search support.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of student and alumni employment status and placement outcomes.
• Work closely with trainers to weave career-readiness support into the learning journey.
• Oversee job boards and digital career resources used by students and alumni.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in placements, recruitment, or career services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
• Solid planning, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Comfort with computers and familiarity with online job portals and professional networking platforms.
• Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships with employers and industry contacts.
• Exposure to corporate, MNC, or HR networks will be an added advantage.

Additional Details

The working schedule is Monday to Saturday, with the second Saturday off.
