Role overview
An SaaS company client is looking for a part-time event coordinator to support its New York office on an ongoing contract basis. The role is designed to help keep the workplace running smoothly while contributing to a friendly and well-organized office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle everyday office coordination tasks in a shared workspace.
- Plan and organize corporate events for employees, from smaller gatherings to larger functions.
- Prepare laptops for employees and arrange shipment as needed.
- Order and replenish office supplies.
- Coordinate breakfast and lunch meetings held in the office.
- Greet and support new team members during onboarding.
- Package and ship parcels.
- Manage laptop returns from remote employees.
- Take on additional tasks and short-term projects as assigned.
Schedule and engagement
This is an ongoing contract role with a required on-site schedule in New York three days per week. The working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation
Pay starts at $22 per hour.
Required background
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional shared office environment.
- Hands-on experience coordinating both small and large events.
- Strong organizational ability.
- Availability to work the specified schedule.
- Comfort with handling ad hoc tasks when needed.
Preferred experience
- Previous exposure to the SaaS sector.
- Experience working with an international organization.
