Operations and Maintenance Engineer

Role overview

White Spaces is looking for a Maintenance & Operations Engineer to support day-to-day maintenance and operational activities across all branches. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical upkeep, coordination with vendors, site checks, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead both scheduled preventive maintenance and urgent corrective maintenance for all branch locations.
• Track the condition and performance of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers to make sure work is completed to the expected standard.
• Visit sites, carry out inspections, and document findings in technical reports.
• Receive, manage, and close maintenance requests efficiently.
• Maintain adherence to all health and safety compliance requirements.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance and operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is necessary.
• Experience in managing contractors and preparing technical reports is important.
• Exposure to the hospitality or hotel industry will be considered an advantage.
