Overview
INSEAD is hiring a Cost Operations Officer for its Executive Education team. This is a full-time short-term assignment lasting one year, and the role can be located either at the Asia Campus in Singapore or the Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi. The working arrangement follows a hybrid model: three days on campus and two days working from home.
The Executive Education unit develops customized and open-enrolment learning experiences for executives and organizations, with a focus on leadership growth and business innovation. The programs are designed to support professionals in building practical capabilities for transformation and success in an international setting.
Role Summary
The internal title for this position is Officer, Administration. The person in this role will oversee programme cost management for Executive Education Open Programmes and Customised Programmes, and will also prepare documentation for each programme so the Accounts Receivable team can recharge CSP clients under the Singapore and Abu Dhabi entities.
This is a practical, detail-heavy role suited to someone who is comfortable handling numbers, working carefully and systematically, protecting confidential information, and coordinating with colleagues across Finance and Sales. The role also calls for an independent working style, along with a proactive mindset toward improving, streamlining, and automating administrative and finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and authorize purchase requests and invoices tied to programme costs for OEP and CSP activities.
- Examine and approve travel expenses submitted for programme managers and faculty members.
- Gather and maintain supporting receipts in the system for client recharge purposes.
- Compile the programme-level file with the required documents so the Accounts Receivable team can bill CSP clients according to the agreed contract terms and conditions.
Compliance and Working Standards
The position plays an important part in ensuring that operations remain aligned with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, as well as INSEAD’s internal policies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should bring at least four years of relevant experience in a comparable position, preferably within accounting or procurement. A strong sense of governance, solid Excel skills at an intermediate level, and familiarity with multi-user digital systems such as Oracle Fusion, Concur, and AMEX Travel are important. The role also requires strong organization, a careful eye for detail, a process-driven approach, clear communication, and a mature, dependable attitude.
Additional Information
This role is a one-year contract and is based onsite within a hybrid work structure. The company has listed Abu Dhabi as the location, while also noting that the position may be based at either the Singapore or Abu Dhabi campus.
