Role overview

This position is responsible for steering demand planning and supply chain operations for the International Business portfolio, covering both ARV and Non-ARV products. The role requires close coordination with manufacturing, production planning, logistics, warehouse, QA/QC, and marketing teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time, inventory stays at the right level, and business goals are met across private, institutional, and tender markets.

What you will do

• Own demand planning for all international business regions across ARV and Non-ARV product lines.
• Work in sync with Plant PPIC, production, warehouse, QA/QC, logistics, and marketing teams to keep order execution smooth.
• Take part in monthly S&OP and PPIC reviews to help lock production and sales plans.
• Track pending orders, production commitments, dispatches, billing progress, and inventory status on a routine basis.
• Plan and prioritize manufacturing allocations for access programs and country tenders.
• Share practical delivery timelines and promptly flag any supply or production bottlenecks.
• Compare customer demand, production promises, and actual deliveries, and escalate mismatches when needed.
• Keep centralized records of pending orders and demand using customer purchase orders and forecast inputs.
• Support inventory replenishment and liquidation efforts to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Improve monthly billing outcomes by ensuring product availability and timely shipments.
• Assist with annual budgeting and latest estimate planning by customer, country, and product.
• Circulate weekly status updates on pending orders, inventory, and deliveries to relevant stakeholders.
• Travel to manufacturing sites, including Hyderabad and other locations, as needed, with at least one visit each month.

Technical requirements

• Strong working knowledge of SAP R/3
• Practical experience with SAP APO, including PPDS and DP/SNP
• Exposure to business intelligence tools
• Solid grasp of demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and customer order servicing

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should hold a B.Tech, B.Sc, or B.Pharm degree along with an MBA. The role calls for 12 to 18 years of relevant experience.
