Role overview
AWO Saarland is looking for a group leader for its workshop for people with disabilities in Weierweiler. The position starts immediately and is offered on a full-time basis with a weekly working time of 39 hours.
Employment terms
The role is paid according to TV AWO Saarland, pay grade EG S7, and is initially limited to one year.
Key responsibilities
- Guide and support workshop participants in their day-to-day work.
- Carry out measures as part of individual participation planning and record the progress appropriately.
- Help prepare participants for work placements in companies and for internships.
Profile
The employer is looking for someone with completed training as an occupational therapist or as a special needs educator/care professional (Heilerziehungspfleger*in).
Experience in respectful and appropriate interaction with people with disabilities is expected.
