Full-Time Deli Assistant

About the role

We are looking to hire a deli assistant for a café in Ballybofey, County Donegal. The business is part of a long-established, family-run food and bakery group based in Sligo, operating across multiple locations in Sligo, Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Longford, and Westmeath. The company continues to broaden its range of products and services.

Working arrangement

This opening is for the Ballybofey shop and involves a schedule across 6 days per week, with working hours ranging from 12 to 35 hours weekly. The rota includes both weekdays and weekends, and staff availability during the week is required, so this opportunity may not be suitable for students.

Key duties

The deli assistant will support day-to-day counter and food-service operations by assisting customers, preparing food and drinks, keeping the work area clean and orderly, and delivering a high standard of customer care. The role also includes handling cash and making sure customer orders are completed correctly and efficiently.

Experience required

Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Previous work as a till operator or cashier will be considered a strong advantage.
