About the internship
Gray Mobility is hiring an in-office intern to contribute to full-stack, backend, and cloud engineering work for its electric mobility products. The role focuses on building software for internal teams and customer-facing platforms while supporting scalable systems across web, mobile, cloud, and connected-vehicle use cases.
What you will work on
- Create and improve full-stack web applications used by both internal stakeholders and external users.
- Design, build, and launch backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop cloud-native systems and manage infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Build secure REST APIs and connect them with web and mobile applications.
- Structure and tune databases to handle growth and performance needs.
- Help implement authentication, authorization, user administration, and broader application security.
- Develop dashboards, analytics products, and internal engineering tools.
- Work on integrations involving vehicle telemetry, IoT, and cloud platforms wherever needed.
- Take part in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with product, electronics, embedded, and vehicle engineering teams to deliver complete software solutions.

Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to 20,000.
Preferred skills and technical exposure
Useful experience includes AWS services and tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM. Exposure to CI/CD, Redis, message queues, Flutter, AI/ML, LLMs, prompt engineering, IoT, MQTT, WebSockets, and real-time streaming will also help.
Eligibility and background
- Currently pursuing B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expected graduation year: 2027.
- Strong academic performance along with practical software projects.
- Prior internship, hackathon, or open-source work is an added advantage.
What we are looking for
- Ownership and a strong willingness to learn.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Interest in building products from the ground up.
- Ability to work independently and also coordinate effectively with different teams.
- Curiosity to explore and adapt to new technologies.
- Good grasp of DSA, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React or similar frameworks, backend development, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, and debugging.
