This position is for a Civil & Structural Engineering Lead supporting an EPC phase project in Qatar. The role centers on guiding the contractor’s delivery of civil and structural engineering scope, ensuring the work is technically sound, executable, and aligned with project requirements from design through installation.

The position also coordinates with Operations Advisors, Project Engineers, Interface Management teams, and works closely with Operations, SEQ (Safety, Environment & Quality), and Engineering teams.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering is required.

Experience and technical background

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory, leadership, or contractor-oversight role.
  • Hands-on experience managing contractors, subcontractors, or vendors.
  • Prior exposure to large LNG projects or comparable major industrial projects is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, and codes, along with safety and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with onshore facilities, utility systems, construction, and operations is important.
