About the internship
This internship is an opportunity to build practical experience in e-commerce operations with GimaTex Industries Private Limited. The role is designed for a motivated candidate who wants exposure to online retail workflows, digital product presentation, customer interaction, and marketplace support.
The company is a long-established Indian textile business with a legacy spanning more than a century. It operates across ginning, spinning, weaving, and processing, and uses modern systems to manage and streamline its operations.
What you will do
- Maintain and refresh product listings across e-commerce channels.
- Work with MS Excel to review sales information and monitor performance numbers.
- Support the marketing team in planning and executing social media promotions.
- Draft and improve content for product pages, blog articles, and social media updates.
- Handle customer queries and feedback received through online platforms.
- Assist with order processing and stock tracking tasks.
- Take on other day-to-day support tasks and project work as required by the e-commerce team.

Compensation and duration
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 12,000 to 15,000. The assignment runs for 3 months and starts immediately for selected candidates.

Interns receive a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and the chance to be considered for a job offer after successful conversion. If converted into a permanent role, the expected compensation is INR 360,000 to 420,000 per year.
