DevOps Specialist - Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Azure

Role overview

Cloudxtreme is hiring an experienced DevOps Specialist to support its Bengaluru team. This position is suited to someone who can design dependable delivery pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, and work across development, testing, and production environments with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Core technologies

The role centers on Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure. Hands-on exposure to Docker, CI/CD workflows, and DevSecOps practices is also important.

Key responsibilities

You will build and maintain automation that supports software delivery, strengthen cloud operations, and help teams improve reliability and performance across environments.

• Build, deploy, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and release activities.
• Administer and tune Azure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scale, security, and stability.
• Support development and release workflows using Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and related build tools.
• Introduce and manage DevSecOps tooling so security is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve issues across development, test, and production systems.
• Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to simplify workflows and improve system performance.
• Handle Linux and Windows administration tasks such as monitoring, patching, and configuration.
• Apply sound source-control practices for branching, versioning, and repository management.
• Track system health and optimize for availability, resilience, and performance.
• Keep up with evolving DevOps methods, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should bring substantial DevOps experience and be comfortable working with modern cloud, automation, and orchestration tools.

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience for SA level, or 8 to 12 years of relevant experience for M level.
• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
• Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Practical experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and DevSecOps tools.
• Ability to work on Linux and Windows administration tasks.
• Good troubleshooting skills and clear verbal and written communication.

Work details

This is a Bengaluru-based role. Shift timing will fall between 6:30 AM and 7:30 PM IST.

Compensation

The salary range offered is INR 7,50,000 to INR 14,00,000 per year.
