Data Insights Analyst

Role overview

Cosmétique et Parfum International is hiring a Data Insights Analyst based in the United States. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone who can turn complex information into practical business intelligence that helps guide planning, performance improvement, and growth.

What you will do

• Work with data from different sources to surface patterns, trends, and commercial opportunities.
• Create, update, and manage dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI tracking tools.
• Convert detailed analytical output into clear takeaways that business stakeholders can act on.
• Contribute data-backed input to planning processes and decision-making discussions.
• Run one-off analyses to answer operational, financial, and strategic questions.
• Partner with teams across the business to understand reporting needs and define analytical requirements.
• Track performance indicators and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across reporting outputs.
• Share findings and recommendations with leadership and other stakeholders.
• Support governance efforts and ongoing process improvements related to data.

Required background

• A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar analytical function.
• Solid SQL knowledge for extracting and examining data.
• Advanced Excel capability, including PivotTables, formulas, and analysis features.
• Hands-on exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable visualization and reporting platforms.
• Strong problem-solving ability, analytical judgment, and critical thinking.
• Good verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
• Comfort handling several projects and deadlines at the same time.

Preferred experience

• Familiarity with Python or R for analysis and automation is an advantage.
• Understanding of statistical methods and data modeling is preferred.
• Exposure to data warehousing, ETL workflows, and cloud-based environments is helpful.
• Experience supporting business strategy, operations, marketing, or finance functions is desirable.
• Professional certifications in analytics, business intelligence, or data management are a plus.
