Role overview
A clinical research organisation that is expanding its Biometrics function is looking for a Clinical Data Coordinator to help deliver reliable, high-quality clinical trial data. This remote Canada-based position is suited to someone with a data-oriented background in clinical research who wants to grow further in clinical data management, database upkeep, and study support while working closely with a collaborative team.
What you will do
- Contribute to data management workstreams across several clinical studies.
- Carry out data review, issue resolution, cleaning, validation, and query follow-up.
- Oversee study databases and electronic data capture systems.
- Assist with testing, validation, and ongoing upkeep of database systems.
- Help prepare Data Management Plans and other study-related documents.
- Coordinate data management tasks with third-party partners such as laboratories and eCRF vendors.
- Support the creation of study metrics reports and dashboard outputs.
- Take part in quality assurance efforts and continuous process improvements.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a closely related area.
- Prior exposure to clinical research, clinical data management, or biometrics.
- Working knowledge of ICH-GCP standards and clinical trial workflows.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and data management tools.
- R programming experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage.
- Strong accuracy, detail orientation, and organisational ability.
- Professional fluency in both English and French.
