Role overview
We are hiring a Cleaner for apartment buildings in Simcoe, Ontario. In this full-time, on-site role, you will help keep shared areas and vacant units clean, presentable, and ready for residents, while supporting a positive experience for tenants.

What you will do
- Keep common spaces in good condition through routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing glass and chrome, treating carpet stains, and refreshing the air in shared areas.
- Support turnover cleaning for vacated apartments by cleaning floors, bathrooms, surfaces, and windows so the unit is ready for re-rental.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, vents, light fittings, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, landings, entrances, elevators, laundry areas, and the office.
- Carry out seasonal exterior duties, including raking, snow clearing, and salting walkways when needed.
- Remove waste from garbage containers and keep the area around dumpsters clean.
Requirements
- High school diploma or about 2 years of related cleaning experience.
- Practical knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and their proper use.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.
