Role Overview

The company is looking for a seasoned Channel Manager to design and run channel sales plans that deepen partner relationships, widen market coverage, and support revenue acceleration. This role involves overseeing channel partners, spotting new alliance opportunities, improving partner outcomes, and working closely with internal teams to meet broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement channel strategies that support company objectives, expansion plans, and revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, resellers, VARs, system integrators, strategic partners, and alliance partners.
  • Find, onboard, and activate new channel partners to increase market reach and sales potential.
  • Work with sales, marketing, product, customer success, operations, finance, and leadership teams to create joint plans and go-to-market programs.
  • Create partner training, sales enablement, certification, marketing support, and other resources that help partners perform better.
  • Track KPIs such as channel revenue, partner pipeline, growth, engagement, market penetration, customer acquisition, retention, and partner satisfaction.
  • Study market shifts, competitor activity, channel results, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities and refine strategy.
  • Handle channel forecasts, budgets, incentive schemes, rebates, pricing approaches, and performance reviews to improve profitability and ROI.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • An MBA, equivalent master’s degree, or professional certification in channel, sales, or partner management is considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in channel management, partner management, business development, sales, account management, or a similar commercial role.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading strategic partnerships, channel programs, or indirect sales teams is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales, partner ecosystems, distribution models, partner enablement, business development, contract negotiation, and go-to-market planning.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, PRM systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools.
  • Exposure to indirect sales models, digital marketplaces, cloud partner programs, strategic alliances, AI-driven sales analytics, and incentive structures is beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership, commercial, analytical, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
