Auditor - Gold Loan

Role Summary

This position is for a Gold Loan Auditor in the Gold Loan function. The core objective is to make sure branch audits are completed within the expected turnaround time and meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out gold loan valuation using accepted methods and procedures.
• Check collateral purity thoroughly through all required verification steps.
• Ensure branch audits are completed on time and with the expected level of quality.
• Review branch gold stock every month through structured checks.
• Examine earlier audit findings, confirm compliance status, and highlight any gaps or violations.
• Perform security verification during audits, including checking the burglary alarm, CCTV system, weighing balance, and other branch security controls.
• Be open to travel to other states or locations for audits and related assignments.
• Conduct training sessions for branch staff on gold loan valuation to improve general awareness.
• Work with complete honesty and integrity, without any direct or indirect interest in the transactions handled.
• Protect and properly use company assets assigned for job execution.
• Use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively for reporting and documentation.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and deliver results within tight timelines and high-pressure situations.
• Be ready for extensive fieldwork and short-notice travel across the region.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the department from time to time.
• Show managerial effectiveness and support team capability development.
• Contribute to monthly business delivery by planning and working with the team on strategy execution.

Requirements

• Any graduate can apply.
• Experience in audit-related work and/or gold loan operations is preferred for this role.
• Must be comfortable with frequent field visits and travel.
• Should have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Needs to demonstrate honesty, accountability, and sound judgment while handling branch-level audit work.

Additional Information

Location: Tiruchirapalli, India

Compensation: INR 5,00,000 to 7,50,000 per year

The role may require working on short notice and handling responsibilities in demanding operational situations.
