Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Singapore for an Architectural Associate. The role centers on shaping architectural and interior concepts, preparing accurate construction and tender documentation, and supporting project delivery from design through execution. You will use AutoCAD and SketchUp extensively, receive training on authority-related procedures, and contribute to submissions made to relevant government bodies. The role also requires close coordination with clients, contractors, authorities, and consultant teams to help deliver high-quality architectural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create architectural and interior design solutions aligned with project goals and client needs.
- Prepare detailed construction and tender drawings, along with models, using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Support project management activities, including coordination of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Learn and assist with authority-related processes and submissions to government agencies.
- Work with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders to move projects forward smoothly.
- Help ensure all documentation and design outputs meet quality and compliance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
- Strong capability in architecture and in producing detailed construction drawings.
- Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
- Understanding of submission procedures and associated documentation requirements.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to track schedules, costs, and deliverables.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Exposure to Singapore building regulations and codes is an added advantage.
- A genuine interest in contemporary design and strong attention to detail.
