About BPM
BPM is built around care, community, curiosity, and innovation. The firm focuses on helping people grow their careers while making a meaningful contribution to clients, colleagues, and the communities it serves. Its culture emphasizes entrepreneurship, inclusion, and a strong sense that people come first.
About the Role
BPM is hiring an AI/ML Engineer for its Enterprise Technology Solutions team. This is a hands-on builder role focused on turning AI concepts into dependable tools that can be used across the firm at scale. The goal is to embed AI into everyday workflows so it creates measurable business value.
You will design and develop AI-driven solutions such as chatbots, copilots, and automation tools that improve processes across Tax, Assurance, Advisory, and Corporate Services. You will also help shape a newly formed AI development team by contributing to its processes, standards, and technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will include designing AI/ML models for BPM-specific use cases, preparing structured and unstructured data for training and evaluation, and integrating AI functionality into internal systems and workflows. You will use tools such as Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Power Platform to deliver practical solutions.
You will also create automation to reduce manual work, collaborate with IT and business teams to identify high-value use cases, prototype and test new AI ideas quickly, and apply responsible AI practices so solutions remain accurate, explainable, secure, and aligned with company standards.
Required Experience and Skills
The role calls for a strong foundation in machine learning, data science, and applied AI, along with hands-on experience building chatbots, copilots, or similar automation solutions. You should be comfortable programming in Python and working with datasets, ML pipelines, and enterprise AI tools in the Microsoft ecosystem.
You must also be able to work across technical and non-technical groups, explain complex ideas clearly, solve problems independently, and handle sensitive data with a security-conscious mindset. Familiarity with agile delivery, product development lifecycles, and responsible AI practices is important.
Preferred Background
Helpful additions include experience with Azure-based cloud environments, OpenAI SDK, Azure AI SDK, LangChain, and Pandas. Exposure to enterprise data governance, compliance requirements, and professional services environments such as accounting or consulting will be an advantage.

- Authentic individuals who bring varied perspectives
- Continuous learners who want to keep improving
- Resilient team members who step up when needed
