Role overview
The company is hiring a dependable and well-organised Stores / Warehouse Operative for its Navan, County Meath site. This is a practical, hands-on position focused on the smooth daily operation of the warehouse, including accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods while keeping stock levels under control.
Working hours
This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Follow all health and safety rules and help keep the workplace safe, tidy, and well organised.
- Accept incoming shipments and verify deliveries.
- Pick items, package orders, and get them ready for shipment.
- Handle inbound and outbound goods processes.
- Complete regular cycle counts and support stock takes.
- Record stock changes in the company ERP platform.
- Use a forklift safely when required.
- Keep the warehouse orderly, clean, and safe at all times.
- Coordinate with production and other teams so materials are available when needed.
What you should bring
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a warehouse or stores setting, along with a valid forklift licence. Familiarity with ERP or stock control software is important, as is strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer literacy, clear communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also essential.
Desirable experience
It would be an advantage to have experience in a manufacturing environment and a full clean driving licence.
