Rele is an early-stage, stealth-mode startup building a new app and platform aimed at bringing more genuine human interaction back to social media. The team is guided by innovation, flexibility, transparent communication, and a non-judgmental environment that supports mental safety.

The product launch is planned for Q3 2026. The company is currently seeking a forward-thinking social media professional to help establish its audience and influence strategy from the ground up. More company information will be shared after an NDA is signed.

Role Summary

The core UI has already been created by the founder of Figma, and the main React Native front-end is in place, though additional features still need to be built. The work will center on helping launch and grow a community platform.

Design Responsibilities

• Bring prior experience with Figma and Claude-based design workflows.
• Own the full product design process, from early concepts through polished, high-fidelity mockups for mobile and web experiences.
• Design for both iOS and Android app standards, respecting Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design principles.
• Work closely with engineers to make sure the final product matches the intended design, including clear specs and asset handoff.
• Run user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover friction points and confirm new ideas for features such as chat, feeds, and posting flows.
• Refine interface details such as icons, button states, color use, and typography so they stay aligned with the brand.
• Use product data and user feedback to iterate quickly on improvements that support retention and engagement.
• Improve how content appears in the feed so users spend more time on the app.
• Create engaging micro-interactions and animations for actions like liking, sharing, and commenting.
• Design smooth, quick onboarding and sign-up experiences to help increase new user acquisition.
• Ensure the product is accessible and inclusive for a broad range of users.
• Build and maintain a design system and component library that keeps the product consistent as it grows.

Compensation

This role is offered part-time before venture capital funding. Compensation includes equity on a vesting schedule, with salary to be provided after a successful capital raise.
