Task Associate

Overview

Ulta Beauty is looking for a Task Associate to help keep store operations running smoothly and support a high-quality shopping experience. The role is centered on making sure merchandise is available, fixtures are stocked, the store stays clean, and assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time. It is a position for someone who pays close attention to detail and is comfortable following established procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Help the store reach its retail goals by completing assigned work on schedule and keeping products available for customers.
• Track and complete operational work through the task dashboard, including shipment handling, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Arrive on time and maintain regular attendance.
• Support a welcoming workplace for team members, peers, and guests.
• Take part in ongoing learning sessions, including brand and category education, to strengthen skills and support sales.
• Follow company policies, operating procedures, and performance standards.
• Comply with the store dress code.
• Carry out resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory processes, and shipment processing using company systems and tools.
• Keep assigned areas stocked, signed, faced, and ready for customers, including making sure testers are available.
• Maintain strong store presentation and cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by using loss-prevention practices and delivering excellent guest service.
• Handle other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• Comfort with basic technology, including point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Constant movement around the store during the shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, or moving of items up to 25 lbs during the shift.
• Continuous or frequent handling and manipulation of objects while working.
