Job summary
This role is for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst who will contribute to the full supply chain cycle, covering procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand forecasting. The position focuses on turning data into practical recommendations that improve performance, lower costs, and strengthen day-to-day efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Review supply chain data to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track inventory positions, forecast demand, and support supply planning work.
- Assist with procurement, logistics, and distribution activities.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect process bottlenecks and suggest ways to streamline workflows.
- Contribute to demand planning and forecasting tasks.
- Assess supplier performance and help manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate information across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing cost and improving operational efficiency.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical function.
- Strong ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis features.
- Hands-on experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of supply chain workflows and operational processes.
- Clear communication skills and strong organizational ability.
- Comfort managing several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
- Working knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data-querying methods.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement approaches.

This is a full-time position based in the United States. The role is onsite in New York, United States.
