We are seeking a focused and proactive Selection Specialist (Recruiter) who can handle hiring from start to finish. The right person will bring strong communication skills, a solid grasp of recruitment workflows, and the ability to stay effective in a fast-moving setting.
What you will do
- Run the complete recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Find candidates through job portals, social channels, employee referrals, and internal talent databases.
- Carry out first-round screening conversations to evaluate skills, work history, and cultural alignment.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews between applicants and hiring managers.
- Update and maintain ATS and HR records accurately.
- Keep candidates informed at every stage of the hiring process.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for both immediate and future openings.
- Assist with large-scale or high-volume hiring when needed.
Requirements and expertise
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT recruitment.
- Good understanding of technical roles, sourcing methods, and recruitment tools.
- Hands-on familiarity with ATS platforms and their use in hiring workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, hiring metrics, and market trends.
- Working proficiency in MS Office.
- Exposure to cross-skill sourcing is desirable.
- Experience with bulk hiring, virtual interview drives, and event-based hiring is an added advantage.
Education
A master’s degree is preferred.
