Role Summary

The QA Analyst will join cross-functional product teams and take ownership of product quality across web applications. This position involves manual and technical testing, control of test data and environments, and direct support for end users who encounter system issues.

What You Will Do

  • Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create detailed test cases and test scripts, with a strong emphasis on manual testing.
  • Execute unit, regression, and user acceptance testing for multiple web applications.
  • Serve as the quality checkpoint for releases moving into Staging and QA environments, while also tracking and reporting testing KPIs.
  • Carry out compatibility checks across operating systems, mobile devices, and major browsers, ensuring responsive design works as intended.
  • Use browser developer tools to inspect the DOM, review network activity, and troubleshoot frontend errors and console messages.
  • Test APIs, including headless endpoints, REST services, and backend integrations, using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Verify cookies, local storage, session handling, JSON payloads, custom data layer objects, and cache-related behavior.
  • Perform basic accessibility validation aligned with WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 using screen readers or automated tools such as Lighthouse or Axe.
  • Evaluate page-load speed, Core Web Vitals, and responsiveness under different network conditions.
  • Create and manage test accounts across environments and handle access-related needs.
  • Log, document, and track defects thoroughly, and repeat regression testing after fixes are implemented.
  • Monitor QA metrics such as defect density and the number of open defects.
  • Gather user feedback on product reliability and use it to improve testing approaches, tools, or scripts.
