- Partner with technical leads to convert complex development work into clear, actionable plans.
- Keep project dashboards, Gantt charts, and status updates accurate and current.
- Coordinate partner-facing delivery timelines with company leadership.
- Prepare and manage project delivery reports for external stakeholders in line with leadership guidance.
- Monitor vendor performance on active projects and help coordinate schedules.
- Handle procurement processes and operational contracting tasks.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person is curious, self-driven, and genuinely interested in emerging technologies. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be motivated by the chance to help build something new.
You will need to bring creativity, problem-solving ability, and a strong willingness to take on challenges and find practical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in project or program management within a technology, engineering, scientific, or product development setting.
- A technical background in engineering or science.
- Proven ability to manage work with significant technical uncertainty and lengthy lead times.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects.
- Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira, along with structured program tracking methods.
- Previous exposure to deep-tech, quantum, robotics, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, or similar R&D-intensive industries is preferred.
- Full working rights in Australia are required.
