Role overview

They are looking for a Project Manager to support a major data centre project in Dublin. The position suits someone who can help drive a large-scale build while working closely with the Project Director to ensure key milestones are met to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role that depends on clear communication, coordination across teams, and strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with clients and project stakeholders, making sure their expectations are understood and addressed throughout the project.
• Keep communication flowing between internal teams and outside partners by presenting project objectives, progress updates, and any risks or issues clearly.
• Assist with defining project scope, delivery plans, and budgets, applying engineering knowledge to improve performance and deliver value.
• Prepare precise project reports and keep documentation organized, complete, and up to date.
• Guide project teams, ensure the right resources are available, and support the delivery of tasks within deadlines.
• Help monitor performance by updating project data and contributing to regular reporting and tracking cycles.
• Work alongside Commercial and Senior Management teams to spot, raise, and resolve contractual or delivery-related concerns.

Qualifications and skills

• Solid experience handling technical elements of project delivery.
• At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry on large-scale projects.
• A relevant third-level qualification in engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of technical project delivery methods.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with strong reporting and presentation ability.
• Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive mindset and a focus on practical solutions.
