FedEx Canada is hiring a Package Handler in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This warehouse-style role focuses on moving freight through the facility by loading and unloading shipments, scanning items, and sorting packages accurately and efficiently.

What you will do

• Load incoming freight and unload outbound freight.
• Scan freight as it moves through the facility.
• Sort parcels and cargo within the warehouse environment.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned as part of the role.

What you need

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is an advantage. Strong people skills are important, along with the ability to complete all required initial and recurring training successfully.

Physical and technical requirements

This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lb and to handle packages weighing up to 150 lb with the right equipment. Candidates should also be comfortable working in a PC/Windows environment and completing recurring tasks as needed.

Schedule and pay

The posted wage is $20.37 per hour. Two shift patterns were listed: Monday to Wednesday from 1:30 am to 9:30 am, and Thursday to Saturday from 2:00 am to 9:30 am. Work hours may vary depending on business needs.
